Beginnings

Beginning tinydeadbunny.com had me all nostalgic for the glory days of the dot-com boom where the design was tables, the chairs were Aeron, the checks were outrageous and the work was virtually nonexistent - where all I had to do for a buck was surf the net and work on my personal site all day, which got me trying to remember when I actually started my first website.

In trying - not quite successfully, the best I could come up with was 1997 or so - to remember my first website I began wondering about how far back I could actually remember anything at all.

My earliest memory is a bit hazy and confusing - it actually seems like two separate memories of a single event. In one part of the memory, which I'll call Memory X, I seem to be floating gently down a long, dark, fluid-filled corridor, tumbling peacefully until I fall into a soft, comfortable place where, a few days later, I am attacked by thousands of tiny things with wiggling tails that yell obscenities at me until one of them finally gets passed my defenses. In the other part of the memory, Memory Y, I am thrown into the breach with thousands of my brothers-in-arms and the mission is to locate and caprute the enemy stronghold. We're all amphibious troops so we swim and swim for all we're worth - the going is so hard that some of us die along the way, some of us get lost, and some of us are so dazed from the difficulty of the mission that we just swim around in circles - until those disheartened few of us that are left the find the enemy base and attack it, yelling and cursing, until I finally win the day.

My next memory is of just kicking back and taking it easy for months on end until I am violently pushed and pulled - both at the same time, if you can believe it - into a harsh environment where a woman is screaming at a man who's passed out on the floor next to a broken video camera and some guy in white gives me a good whack across the bottom. Everything is so bright and loud and some asshole has just taken a swing at me so I start crying.

Since many of my other earliest memories involve biological functions and my distinct lack of control over them, I think I'll just welcome you to tinydeadbunny.com.

About

There are many types of people in the world, and the ones that are successful have outgoing personalities, and a drive to complete whatever it is they set their minds to. Many of them are creative either in a intellectual or artistic sense. This site is born of two men who don’t fit into either category. They are generally creative, but can’t complete what they start- and there is a body-count of orphaned blogs to prove it. Not just blogs either, their inability to commit to a project bleeds into other venues such as writing, drawing, concept blogs, etc.

This site has been developed on the philosophy that if two dead-beats pool their efforts, they can create one averagely successful person.

Ricardo Pants: Enjoys small meals.

Baron Wilhelm von Hans von Masterson von Stuttgart von Bob: Is not German.
